Some views from the area between the motor home sites and the Guadalupe River. The water was not deep when I took these. They have had only 1/2 inch of rain since before October. The pictures of the trees really do not show their size. At ground level the largest one is about 18 feet across. The sites are higher up because of flooding when they do get a rain storm. This is the area that the deer use in the evenings when they come in for their supper, along with other birds and small animals. There are a couple of feeders that spread corn out at the same time every evening. Of all the campgrounds, Rv parks, and RV Resorts, that we have ever been in, this is by far the nicest one of them all. |
